Did You Know? Master Your Learning with Audio and Quizzes
Kompunik is designed around a learning experience that feels more like listening to a podcast than sitting in a classroom. Every skill comes with audio tracks, quizzes, and self-assessments that work together to help you build real competence.
The Immersive Audio Player
The heart of Kompunik is the audio player. Inspired by music streaming apps, it fills your screen with a beautiful cover image and blurred background, putting you in the right mindset to focus.
- Full-screen immersive design: An 80% viewport-height player with cover image background, dark gradient overlay, and white text for a distraction-free experience
- Live subtitles: Synchronized captions appear as the audio plays, so you can read along or use them in noisy environments
- Track navigation: Move between tracks within each skill using previous and next buttons, with a track counter showing your position
- Progress bar with seek: Drag the handle to jump to any point in the track, with remaining time displayed
- Auto-save: Your listening position saves automatically every few seconds, so you never lose your place
Quizzes That Test Your Understanding
After listening to all audio tracks for a skill, you unlock a quiz that tests how well you absorbed the material. Quizzes focus on practical application rather than rote memorization.
- Single and multiple choice: Questions come in different formats to test different types of knowledge
- Audio-scenario questions: Some questions present real-world scenarios asking you to choose the best response
- Instant feedback: After submitting, see your score and review which answers were correct with explanations
- Pass or retry: You need a minimum score to pass, but you can retake quizzes as many times as needed
Self-Assessment Questionnaires
Before diving into audio content, each skill starts with a self-assessment questionnaire. These are not tests you pass or fail. Instead, they measure your current level and feed directly into your constellation map.
- Likert scale questions: Rate yourself on statements about your current behaviors and attitudes
- Open reflection: Some questions ask you to describe how you would handle specific situations
- Constellation scoring: Your answers are processed through a weighted scoring engine that calculates a 1-5 skill level
- Evidence weighting: Behavioral frequency and scenario reactions count more than self-perception questions
The Skill Progression Path
Each skill follows a clear three-step progression:
- Complete the self-assessment: Establish your baseline level for this skill
- Listen to all audio tracks: Absorb the core content through the immersive player
- Pass the quiz: Demonstrate your understanding and earn completion credit
Pillar Introduction Videos
Skills are organized into four pillars. Before accessing skills in a new pillar, you watch a short introduction video that sets the context and explains the pillar theme.
Cross-Device Sync
All your progress is stored in the cloud and syncs automatically. Start a track on your phone during your commute, then continue on your laptop at home.
