Did You Know? Earn Badges and Certificates
Kompunik rewards your learning journey with a comprehensive gamification system. From your first login to completing the entire course, there are always new achievements to unlock and milestones to celebrate.
47 Badges in 4 Rarity Tiers
The badge engine evaluates your activity and awards badges automatically when you meet specific conditions. Each badge belongs to one of four rarity tiers, each with its own celebration animation:
- Common: Everyday achievements like completing your first skill or making your first post. These appear as a brief toast notification
- Rare: More significant milestones like completing a full pillar or earning a 5-day streak. These get a slightly longer toast
- Epic: Major accomplishments like completing all skills or reaching ambassador level 3. These trigger a centered modal with a gold glow ring and confetti
- Legendary: The rarest achievements like completing the entire course with excellence or reaching ambassador legend status. These produce a full-screen purple overlay with 25 confetti particles
Badge Gallery
All 47 badges are visible in your profile under the Achievements tab. Earned badges appear first sorted by date, followed by locked badges shown in a dimmed state. Each badge card shows its rarity, name, description, and the date you earned it.
Daily Streaks
The streak system tracks consecutive days of learning activity. Any qualifying action counts: listening to audio, completing a quiz, finishing a self-assessment, or participating in a challenge step. Your current streak appears as a flame icon on the home page.
If you miss a day, your streak resets to zero. But do not worry: if you return after 14 or more days of inactivity, you earn a special comeback badge recognizing your return.
Certificates
When you complete all 28 skills (questionnaire, audio tracks, and quiz for each), you become eligible to generate an official Kompunik certificate. Click the button on your profile Certificates tab to create it.
Distinction Levels
Your certificate includes a distinction level based on your average quiz score across all 28 skills:
- Base certificate: Average score below 85%
- With Distinction: Average score of 85% or higher
- With Excellence: Average score of 90% or higher
Sharing and Verification
Each certificate gets a unique ID and a PDF stored securely. You can download it, share it via social share cards (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and more), and anyone can verify its authenticity through the public verification page using the certificate ID.

Joss is the founder of Kompunik, a multilingual learning platform about soft skills and career-orientation. Across twenty years in both global corporations and start-ups, he has built and led teams in the UK, India and France, reporting to stakeholders from the US, Mexico, Brazil to China, Japan, Australia and Africa. Twice he joined a business at its earliest stage — a handful of inspired people — and left a decade later with a 30-to-50-strong organisation, products performing in their markets, and recurring revenues more than doubled. Along the way he specialised in building software, data and AI-driven products that industry leaders in the telecom and agriculture sectors rely on. That experience — hiring, motivating and retaining the people who make it happen — is what Kompunik is built to pass on.
